iMac G4 15" Apple Internal 56K v.90 Modem Mac X 10.2.3 OS
Booted my computer and could not connect to internet ("no dial tone" error).
Nothing new has been installed or downloaded.
Checked phone jack in wall (tested OK)
Checked phone cord (tested OK)
Checked settings (all appeared as normal)
Is this internal modem fixable? If built in, would it require new mainboard?
Is this a setting issue? If so, what should I check?
Would an external modem be a fix for this as last resort?
Any advice is helpful.
