I need to go back to High Sierra, but what is the app I can load on an external drive and where can you get the installer for High Sierra?

I am having lots of application issues with the new software until I can figure them all out I need to go back, any help would be great thanks.

This doesn't work tells me the version of OS on my machine is newer, so will not allow me to download it and make a bootable USB key
It just worked for me. I'm running Mojave 10.14 and just used the link to download High Sierra.
Here is what I saw:

I clicked the Download button and the download started:

After the download I got this window & clicked "Quit":

The High Sierra installer app was left in the Applications folder:

The 5.23 GB "Install macOS High Sierra" app can be used to create a USB installer.
