i was given a PC by my employer for working at home when necessary. Two monitors as well. Every so often (usually 5 times/day) the two monitors flicker off and on, staying off for about 3-5 seconds each time. My work's tech support remote in and can see the flicker from their end so they said it can't be the actual monitors as they wouldn't be able to see that. They ran system diagnostics and found no problems.

I did some online searches and bad RAM seems like a possibility. What do you think it could be? If it's bad RAM, how come their system diagnostics don't catch it?

Thanks for your help:)

I wonder if the issue could be in the power management settings or perhaps a bad cable vs bad memory. Neither of those would show up as being a system diagnostic problem.
