Why is it that they don't have name calling for iOS versions? Anyone get to the bottom of that one?

Well there will be lots of exciting new hardware in the pipeline for sure, for 2015
But yes, I am looking forward to seeing all the new exciting things Tim promised us this year 1st.
That's why we are already looking to 2015, because we may have to wait until next year to see them. I don't seem to remember Tim actually making specific promises. He's typically very evasive about specifics.

I was thinking the same thing. So will we have iOSX 10.1, 10.2, etc? Or maybe they'll wait until iOS 11 and then make OSX 11 and they'll basically be the same thing. Woah.
It's fun to think of what the big new feature would be in iOS 11. That would be in 2017, 10 years after the first iPhone. It would ship on the iPhone 7S. Hopefully by then the base model is 32GB and we have more than 1GB of ram. But it probably won't because it will be half the thickness of a pen.
Where Apple positions the Swift programming language and health "accessories" will probably be the bigger story in 2015 than an OS X bump.

I do the same, just for lame news, which you might find various in here. Most them are "refreshing" though
Now that the tickets are being sold as a lottery knowing the exact date doesn't help that much. No sense making hotel and airfare reservations now.
