For the upcoming update to the imac, what do you think would be the most likely video card apple would put into the imac? Is the x1900 unlikely?

IMO it's very unlikely. I'm guessing x1650 or x1800 if we're lucky. Or maybe a lower-power nvidea equivalent, but that power range.

I think the X1900 is quite unlikely. My guess is they will stay with the X1600 (or maybe something in the X1800 family). Afterall, it is a -consumer- machine and Apple always seems to be a few generations behind the latest in graphics chips.

I think it would be wuite good to see some Nvidia cards, they could quite easily put in a 7600GTX/7800GT, that would give the graphics capabilities quite a boost...

Cheers

a X1800 mobile doesn't seem unlikely, after all, the iMac is a friggin desktop, sometimes I think Apple may be sacrificing much making the iMac like that, its like a friggin ultra heavy portable computer, space doesn't matter for desktops.
