No speech, no turn by turn, no routing, no 3D. Just 2D maps and tracks and waypoints.

While that may not be too exciting, it is a very well-done application and well worth the $2.99 they are charging.

It downloads the maps off of 3G and will also let you grab maps and store them locally via Wi-Fi or 3G if you do not want to use the 3G service when out and about.

I can see this being great for flying, off-roading, and boating. Hiking too, if you don't mind the bulk.
