I backup to external USB HDD 3,5" Encrypted APFS using Time Machine and CCC.
But this HDD make so much noise, is it possible to share this HDD over the Lan so I can put the HDD in another room?
(I know SSD is silent but I have read they are not as good as HDD for long term storage (2 years).)
The only bad solution I have today is a very long USB cable to another room...
