move browser bookmarks & cache folder?

I use the latest version of Opera for most web browsing and would like to move the bookmarks folder that is stored on Home Folder in Library along with cache and other preferences folders. I never feel confident about moving anything in the system's Library folder so are there any ramifications if I just move these subfolders elsewhere. If so, will the system keep track of it and integrate with Opera so I don't 'lose' the bookmarks? Any suggestions appreciated.
