Hi all,

I'm currently using Snow Leopard and am looking to make the jump to El Cap when it releases. At the moment I use an amazing little app called MoveAddict (http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/34189/moveaddict) to make file management in Finder so much easier. It lets you press Cmd-x and Cmd-v to cut and paste files wherever you want. Super useful.

Does anyone know if this app works in El Cap?

Thanks

Even if it's not working (I don't know if it is), you can always cut and paste by pressing cmd-c and cmd-option-v.

Dephibios solution is the way to do this. You can also just swap the shortcut for move/paste for the Finder in System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts so that moving is the default behaviour when you press cmd + V and paste the optional behaviour when you press option + cmd + V.
