I just got a new iMac with Mavericks (previous iMac OSX was Snow Leopard). I was used to moving files and folders by dragging, and if the Finder window didn't display the folder I was moving to, I could drag up to the top of the Finder window just under the column headers row and Finder would scroll up through folders. With Mavericks, if I do that, a Finder spring-loaded folder window opens up. Does anyone know if the Finder scrolling is gone? I've tried revising Finder preferences to no avail.

I think that's gone - but you can open tabs in Finder now, which I find way easier anyway. Open a tab for my destination, drag files to that tab.

Thanks! That's kind of what I thought. I've been using the tabs and definitely like them.
