Resolved MP5,1 - Linux without boot-screen

Hi all,

I'm trying to install linux on separate HDD, but couldn't figure out how to boot back to macOS.
I don't have boot-screen as I'm using RX570, booting back and forth between W10 and Mojave is thought boot-camp control panel in W10 and start-up disk in Mojave. But I couldn't figure out booting from Linux back to Mojave.

I haven't install the Linux as I want to make sure I can boot back to Mojave without much hassle.

I also failed to make my cMP 5,1 to boot from the USB installer I created (Pop-OS) by pressing 'C' during boot.

My specs are in my signature

Can you help pointed out how to properly install rEFInd in cMP 5,1?
I hope no known problem for installing rEFind in cMP 5,1 (I heard clover could some-how damage it).

Quite similar with the official docs:

I use following script to find the EFI partition:
diskutil list | grep EFI | awk '{print $6}'
