ok ive been trying out a lot of the different p2p apps lately and ive run into some problems when downloading large 100mb+ mpeg files (actually some of the music videos i downlaod might have this problem too but im not sure). the file is huge, sometimes 700mb and when i open it with quicktime the entire movie is like 1 minute or 2 minutes (no its not amazing quality or anything). seems like the file has become damaged somehow during the transfer. Since the file is still huge it seems like the data must be in there somewhere, so im hoping there is a fix. i downloaded some of these (when i could find the same file) again and although still damaged it didnt seem to be the exact same length (although same file size).

Anyone run into the same problem?

Anyone know how to fix it?

(seems to be just gnutella clients, but i havent been able to get large files from many other places)

never had this problem with irc or carracho.
