Loading notifications or even replying to threads is delayed by several seconds. Is this behavior post-maintenance going to correct itself or is it the server indexing?

it shouldn't be related. But let me know if it does resolve itself.

My apologies in advance. But I also have experienced this many times since last night. There is a bit of a delay while making a post. You can see the red line loading below. It goes around many times before your post gets posted. There is a bit of a 10-second wait.

Also, received this error message. I had to refresh the page in order for it to disappear. After refreshing, my post got posted.

Maybe it has to do with the browser cookies and cache? Or a bug in Xenforo code is causing it?

Nothing we did last night should be causing this issue. We did a backup of our database server but no other config changes were made. I’ll poke around and see.

Same issue earlier. Replies take a while, at first I thought it’s my connection, but looks like I’m not the only one. Currently on iPad if that helps.

EDIT: posting this before edit took 8-9 seconds with the animation on top indicating something is happening.

I'll help test here and reply again if it's anything over normal. BTW, probably just coincidence but I'm facing the exact same issue today on Xenforo and it was out of nowhere, finally had to disable all addons and I'm working through them one by one to try to find which one it is.

Also, when you have a slightly longer post and if you attached photos there seems to be a delay as well.

Ya I’ll keep looking but I don’t know why it would have just changed. And has been ok for me. Quiting / restarting your browser in case something was cached weirdly would
be one easy step.

that particular message looks like a rate limiting thing rather than a server thing. Just doesn't let most accounts posting in rapid sequence.

In a coffee shop.
The site is stalling, freezing and hanging (again) this evening.

Actually, the site is still stalling, hanging and freezing, especially when I attempt to respond to a post (by way of registering a "like", or attempt a reply).

The site also stalls and freezes (and hangs) whenever I receive a notification (informing me that someone else has "liked" or otherwise responded to, something I have written/posted).

Perhaps paradoxically, this particular thread does not exhibit any of the behaviours (hanging, freezing, stalling, when attempting to open a page, open notifications, respond to a post, or click on a "like") I have noticed (and experienced) elsewhere in the site this evening.

Today I am experiencing it again. Time-outs to post replies and even time-outs when quoting.
