Loading notifications or even replying to threads is delayed by several seconds. Is this behavior post-maintenance going to correct itself or is it the server indexing?
@arn Good looking out. Please, keep us posted. Thank you 🙏🏻Nothing we did last night should be causing this issue. We did a backup of our database server but no other config changes were made. I’ll poke around and see.
Also, when you have a slightly longer post and if you attached photos there seems to be a delay as well.I'll help test here and reply again if it's anything over normal. BTW, probably just coincidence but I'm facing the exact same issue today on Xenforo and it was out of nowhere, finally had to disable all addons and I'm working through them one by one to try to find which one it is.
That looks great. It's working a bit better now as the site is responsive. Although I did get the 10second time out for a previous post before this on.Testing attachment
Already did, even did restart of my Mac.Ya I’ll keep looking but I don’t know why it would have just changed. And has been ok for me. Quiting / restarting your browser in case something was cached weirdly would
be one easy step.
Okay good to know. Thank you @arn 🙏that particular message looks like a rate limiting thing rather than a server thing. Just doesn't let most accounts posting in rapid sequence.
Today I am experiencing it again. Time-outs to post replies and even time-outs when quoting.Perhaps paradoxically, this particular thread does not exhibit any of the behaviours (hanging, freezing, stalling, when attempting to open a page, open notifications, respond to a post, or click on a "like") I have noticed (and experienced) elsewhere in the site this evening.
