Music.app moved library to external files now iTunes cant find them

Moved my Music library to an external drive and now all the songs have exclamation points. Cant find the file would I like to manually locate. Which with 835 albums is not the way to go.

Anybody know how to fix this?

Open Music > Preferences > Files and point to where the files are now.

Or: Option key while launching Music. Launch from Finder > Applications NOT from Dock.

That was the first thing I tried. As well as organize library and consolidate. But didn't do the trick

That allows you to choose a new library database or make a new one. But it won't do anything else. What were you intending to happen?

Just pointing out another way to point Music to where the library is.
