iPad My ipad with 13.4.x iPadOS has system or other taking up 8gigs! How do I fix this?

Hi I have a new iPad v6 and for some reason the other or system is occupying around 8 gigs space! I tried syncing the ipad but the space remains. Leaves me with little space to add apps. How do I fix this? Thanks!

I usually have to wait about 5 mins see where the space is being used up at. Sometimes a simple reboot will help. Other times it may be cached Safari data. I would give it some time. My iPad showed 11.4 GB other but changed to 4.2GB. See what’s taking up storage. Do a reboot and offload any apps you don’t use.
