I now have the problem that I can't leave the house without taking my charging cable with me.

I can't even talk on the phone for 30 minutes and it already goes off, not many apps running in the background - off.

After 3 hours of use - off
Taking it off the plug- dead

I don't know what the problem is. Have any of you had the same problem before?

I just replaced the battery in my backup iPhone 7. Was really quite easy. Cost about £10 for the battery but I also needed to get one of these dual suction cup openers for about £3. Good fun too :)

Thank you very much guys! I just checked my phone and found that my battery capacity is just at 50%. That is already quite small. Now I need to get an replacement.

Yup, that's definitely it. If it makes you feel any better you certainly maxed out its life!
