With the latest software update, do M1/M2 Pro MacBook Pro 16" users still have their Mac got messed up with multi-display setup?

As of today, is this Mac forgetting settings on multi-display setup issue affecting those who use different models of displays as well as those who use the same models bought at the same/similar time?
