Hi!
Earlier tonight, I was watching Netflix on my MacBook Pro. I was lying completely still, when suddenly, I heard a soft cracking sound. A square appeared on my MacBook’s screen, with four cracks shooting from each corner of the shape.
I ran my finger over the cracks to find that they weren’t really there; my screen was unharmed, but the display seemed shattered.
I tried restarting my laptop. When it rebooted, my MacBook would only display the square, the phantom cracks, the pulsating white lines and a grid.
What has happened to my Mac? Is this fixable? And does Apple cover the cost if the damage was done by a ghost?
Thank you in advance.

Ghosts aren’t real; Apple’s warranty is based on reality. I suspect they won’t cover it but they will be able to tell you when you take it in
