i meant those benchmarks look fine :)

would seem like a bug with 10.5/PS, and FCP then. i wonder if its worth upgrading to 10.6 to see if the problems persist.... you could clone first and go back if you wished..?

do you know if updating to SL will bugger up imovie 6? :)

if not, I will try updating, but I gotta keep imovie 6!

one problem from the reinstall: adobe thinks this isn't a registered copy of creative suite and is asking for the serial key, I only have the install disks, no key (its one of those minis off ebay that are brand new but they upgrade the specs for you). I guess I'm buggered.

i have 10.5 on my MBP with iMovie 6 - but i just opened up iMovie over the network on my i7 iMac with 10.6 and it worked perfectly :D so i think you are safe.

im not sure about the serial sorry :(
