Myguides not showing up on compass app

Hi,

I have created some guides on my iphone maps app so that I can see them under the apple watch(ultra) compass waypoints but the only waypoints I can see are the ones I created on the watch.I have restarted the phone and watch several times but they are still not showing up.Is there something I need to do on the maps app ?
