mysterious shut-down

Hi everyone, I'm running 10.3.7 on my PB(1.33GHz G4), sometimes (quite often, actually, about 3 times a week) it would shutdown by itself when closed(sleeping).... has anyone had this same problem? How can I resolve this? It's getting kinda annoying...

Is it running on battery power or adaptor power when it does it? Are there any peripherals plugged in when it does it? Or any particular applications running?

If it's still under warranty (seems likely), call Apple. It's worth getting a record of it if the problem continues past the warranty expiration.

Otherwise, how's your battery life? If it gets low enough, I believe the PB will shut down (my PB is ancient; I have no idea how the newer ones function in this regard).

My PB has great battery life, however, it mysteriously shut down even under the condition of being fully charged. Usually I have at least the following programs open:

- Safari
- The terminal
- Mail
- Text edit
- Preview
- iTunes
