I have recently discovered that my tv is registering a connection to the "TV" even when the aerial is removed & the internet disconnected. There is absolutely no physical external feed to the device, yet the connection persists!
To add to this perplexing conundrum I discovered that there is cable TV connectivity fed via the normal external aerial used to watch free to air channels. I cant watch the thousand cable channels as they are incrypted, but I would very much like to know
1. How is my tv registering a connection with no aerial or internet?
2.How can cable tv be running through my home & showing up on a scan from my aerial socket?🤯
