I have been running out of space on my HD, so have set up a few USB devices to handle the overload - Photoshop scratch discs and basic files I want to keep but don't need immediate access to.

At some point, an unusual icon appeared on my desktop, like a regular USB gray rectangle but darker and with some decoration on it. But it seemed to work for storage, so I named it BOOTLE and used it, thinking it was just a fancier type of USB. I loaded it with stuff for a few weeks. Then I ejected it and soon realized it wasn't from a physical drive. Not sure where it came from, but Disc Utility found it as a partition on the main HD. I didn't create it on purpose, and it's using 47gb of storage I thought I didn't have. Now I can't figure out how to get it back. Advice? Thanks for your help - PM
