Honestly at this point I’d just leave the iMac’s internal drive alone. Get one of these:

Slap in one or more m.2 nvme SSDs, boot from it and use your current fusion drive as a backup drive or mass storage data volume. Just my 2 cents. I’ve opened my iMac plenty of times, but now day with TB and NVME it is just not worth it.

Since your iMac still has TB2 you will need an adapter.

thank you for advice, i thing apple's espirit is simply things, and evite all connectique possible, to use only mac and icloud, if we add a external drive, we can do of course, but what's the difference between mac and windows anyway? i've bought a bigger hdd seagate and a sdd pcie 256go, make sure it will be useful for next 2 or 3 years, i will upload the speed test. thank you again.
