Hi everyone,

I need advice on choosing a MacBook Pro with Apple Silicon and 1 TB of storage. I also want to connect it to multiple external displays.

Likewise, I noticed that the MacBook Pro 14" and 16" with the M1 Pro chip (10-core CPU and 16-core GPU) have the same price, except that the 16" is $22.73 cheaper. That's weird, right?

The only reason I might pick the M2 Pro chip is the Bluetooth 5.3 feature. But the price difference is quite significant: $365.76 more for the 14" (with 10-core CPU and 16-core GPU) and $788.46 more for the 16" (with 12-core CPU and 19-core GPU).

So, which one should I get? The M1 Pro or the M2 Pro? And should I go for the 14" or the 16" screen size? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

If was buying a Pro level laptop then would get the M2. Should get support for updates longer and there are enhancements to other parts of soc such as neural engine and media engine which depending upon use may or not be important.

14" vs 16" 14 is more portable and if attaching multiple external displays then the smaller dispaly not an disue.

however without knowing what actually going to use it for then I have no idea if you would benefit from the extra CPU/GPU cores with the 16"
