My source for Apple part numbers is pretty out of date, and I find myself in need of a part for an iMac.. a 24X Slot-loading CD-ROM drive. If anyone knows this part number, or better yet, an up-to-date source for Apple part numbers, I would be IMMENSELY grateful. I can almost always get the parts, I just need a part number... but I will entertain offers on a drive if anyone has a working one to part with. Paying Apple $999 for a year's subscription to Service Source is not an option... we're too close to CompUSA (1500 feet) and they won't authorize us for repairs, whether or not we get our techs certified. At least, this was the case a year ago when I spoke to Apple about it.
