Need help w/ keyspan sxpro

Put a keyspan sxpro [pci card w/ 4 serial ports] in a B&W [OS 9.0.4] in the office, hoping to run multiple printers. But can only recognize the first two ports. Is this normal? Do I need to put OS-X in, to utilize all 4 ports? Thanks. MV
BTW I am still in need of a cord [computer end of A/C adapter] for a PowerBook G3.
