I have macbook white and desktop pc with windows XP SP3 RC2.
I am trying to connect my macbook to the desktop but not to sure how to go about like what hardware and software required.
What i am trying to achieve is to use the desktop pc's hard drive which has 120gigs in 3 separate hard disk as a backup system plus to share files between the 2 systems. On the other i should be able to use the desktop's dvd writer from my macbook, like controlling from macbook.
Can anyone tell me or point me an appropriate guide? I am thinking of using vnc to access my desktop.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
