New alert tones

Saw there was a new preference for the start up sound, but no one has mentioned this yet. New alert's in System Preferences

The remixes of the original ones, like Sosumi me, are really cool! It's like they're living a new life.

But some of the others in the top-half sounded very similar and generic/bland.

Some of these sounds are over 20 years old. I have been hoping these would be refreshed for many years. So glad they were finally brought into the modern era.

Jump and Sosumi are particularly great modern rethinks of some very classic alert sounds. I’m sticking with Jump for now, fondly remembering my SE/30.

It was time for an overhaul. As much as I loved the sounds in OS X, they were ancient. Many of the sounds were created in the 80's at NeXT and ported to OS X in 2000. I love the new sounds, and on my 16" MBP, they are much more attention grabbing than the old sounds.
