New Apple AV Composite Cable Compatible with Old Universal Dock?

Do the new Apple Composite Cables work with the old Dock? I went ahead and ordered the new Cables then stupidly, I forgot that I had the old Dock still but, now that I think about it, maybe all I need is the cables and then the old Dock will work with video out? Anyone try this yet?
