I just got a new MacBook Pro and brought it home, and it can't see my Apple TV. I have verified that the Apple TV is connected to my router, and I have also restarted both the Apple TV and the new MacBook Pro.

Anyone had this problem before?

Make sure your MBP screen is facing the Apple TV. Then the iSight can see you r ATV. Problem solved. :)

Seriously are you saying you can not see the ATV in FINDER or iTUNES?

Yes, I had exactly the same problem.

All you need to do is to reconnect Apple TV to your new computer and then resync everything.

err...reconnect how, exactly?

To the previous poster...I mean in iTunes I can't see it. I can ping the Apple TV from the command line, but bonjour is not auto-mounting it.

aha...I found out what you have to do. Connect the Apple TV to a "new library" and stuff. It's syncing now.

Thanks all.
