Hi All,

I'm excited to share with you our Fyde app! We are a startup backed by Silicon Valley investors, and set out to create a next-gen application that protects you from attacks that may put your identify at risk.

Because privacy is at the heart of our company, we don't show ads or sell any data to 3rd parties, and the app is completely free (we never ask for your name/email, unless you're trying to contact us).

What's the catch? We will have an enterprise edition so that companies can protect their devices from these attacks, and able to better assess the security risks of their endpoints. They'll be able to add their own block lists, security policies, etc.
With free users, we expect to gather a better visibility into current threats, by anonymously sharing with us potential threat data you device might see (for example, a malicious URL like a bank). Win-win!

We'd love to hear your feedback!

Does it block in-app ads? Does it use a VPN-based blocking or is it like a Safari content blocker?

Does it block in-app ads or is it similar to content blocker which works only in Safari?
It blocks in-app ads as well. Whole point is to empower the user to block annoyances/threats that he doesn't want to.
It can be ads, trackers, phishing domains, misleading marketing, mining sites, etc.

We are working on having spam call blocker as well, so that we'll only need one single app to protect the user.

so far looks really good and with adgaurd pro dying this might be an awesome alternative. Can't find any lengthy explantation what they do with the data though
