Resolved New guy needs help setting up printer

Just bought a used Mac mini from Backmarket. Late model 2014 mini running Monterey 12.4.
So here I set with the mini to my left and ny trusty old Canon LBP6030 to my right.
Went to get a driver and there doesn't seem to be one at Canon.

PS_ I came back to Apple after being away for some time. Since I had a Kbd, screen, printers and scanners I threw away my HP PC and plugged in the mini. So far I am ecstatic. This little bugger is FAST!
A little about me.....I am 84 YO and yes, I am slowing down both Physically AND mentally. But the world runs on pooters now so I need to keep up......oh I can run a few years back.....I don't want to be out front anymore. Too many arrows.......


Can you step me through the process of getting the Mini to print on the Canon?

Canon is not very good about getting new drivers for new OS's out but if you add the printer in System Preferences and select Airprint, that might do the trick. That's what I have done for a Canon Selphy that had no dedicated drivers.
