Hi Everyone!
I had an early 2011 MBP OS Lion where the HD was unrepairable. Ordered new late 2011 from ebay. With Sierra and 2016 office and other apps (of course no originals for the apps)
New one comes. Works great. Then I made the mistake to use Migration Assistant and Time Machine backup from external disk. Did "replace user" For apps and all.
It overrode imovie, Office, maybe others to the old ones from Lion. UGH. And overall computer is running slow now. Plus it looks like it has inherited issues from my old MPB. Like finding a file...all weird. Indexing all weird.
IF I find and retreive the deleted/replaced user this new computer came with. Will I be able to reinstate it and get the computer back to the way it was when I bought it? Apps and all???
UNFORTUNATELY I did not time machine save it! UGH! Or I could have just done that.
