Was considering getting a new mini server edition and attaching it to my HDTV. I want to use it as a media center but also want to run rfactor through Parellels on Win7 and also use Steam for other driving games.

Is the new mini powerful enough for this type of gaming? Would going to 8GB benefit the gaming over the stock 4GB on the server mini? Or is the gaming more dependent on the 320M?

Here are the specs for rfactor from their website if people aren't familiar with it. Right now I play it on my fully spec'd out iMac i7 with 16GB of Ram and of course it runs fine.

Specs:
Runs Best With

Windows XP
2048 MB RAM
Geforce 7900 GT or Radeon X1900 GT
256 MB video RAM
DirectX 9.0c
2.0 GB of hard drive space for installation
Internet connection required for one-time activation

System Requirements
1.4 GHz processor
Windows 98 SE, ME, 2000, XP, XP 64-bit, Vista (will NOT run in Windows 95 or Windows 98 first edition)
512 MB RAM

128 MB video RAM
DirectX 9.0c
2.0 GB of hard drive space for installation
Internet connection required for one-time activation

If youre using the Mac version, then 8GB RAM will certainly help, especially if you plan on leaving iTunes and other Media Software running in the Background, however gaming is more dependant on the 320M, which for Steam should work fine (It runs okay on my MacBook with an Intel X3100) :)
