'bout time for MacWorld speculation, me thinks...
Now that the "fall update" is out of way, I think it's time to move on to predictions for MacWorld New York.
My predictions. (Echo'ing many previous predictions...)
1) Cheaper LCDs and perhaps a move to all wide-format. Really... How can Apple keep charging so much for these? Hopefully, this will drop before MacWorld comes around.
2) Speed bump for the current PowerMac line-up.
Top end at 1.67 GHz. (I haven't done the math to see what exactly is possible with the G4's bus multipliers, so if that doesn't hit exactly, pick something close to it.) I think that they'll manage one more squeeze out of the G4 before moving onto something better.
