New photos app

Anyone else delighted with the new photos app announcement? Much better editing controls and with the improved file access a real alternative to Lightroom.

One question, can I use my pencil for selective edits on iPad Pro? This would be a game changer for me as I would probably ditch adobe cc in favour of Apple photos.

I am ☺️ but I’m still waiting to check some screenshots from devs to see if we can now add/manage tags, Georeferencing info or even changing date info.

Don’t know how it will change my workflow.

I’m also curious about the “duplicate finder feature”. Will they give us some control and let us remove the duplicates that we want?
