Just received the smart folio case for the 5th Gen iPad Pro…

Nice new packaging, they have opted to get rid of the clear plastic and is more like the boxes the iPhone cases come in with the slide out drawer design.

I got an inexpensive one from Amazon, funny how the “5th” generation one is identical in every way to the 4th gen one….hmm. I wanted to have one to carry the iPad around when I didn’t want to tote a keyboard.

Nice. Have you used these before? Do they hold up pretty well? I would go with the same color you chose.

Personally I have tried the black and the white, and surprisingly the white holds up much better than the black as you can’t see all the oily smudges all over it, only issue with the white is it could possibly stain but as long as where you use it is clean I can’t see it being an issue.

Sorry to break it to you but the smart cover boxes have been like this for a while, at least since 2018.

Hmmmmm I stand corrected then. I swore they changed in a while ago....my bad. Would you mind checking the texture on yours? I got the "black" last week for my 11-in pro and it seems to be they switched to dark gray and has kind of a rough feel to it in comparison to their previous offerings. Plus the old black from last year was actually black.
