I don't know much as for helping you directly. However, you're more likely to come across others who are having issues and others who might have solutions for you if you go to the main thread on the new Security Update; link here.

as many will tell you - do not buy RAM from apple as it's a right rip off , get it online - the apple website is good to tell you what sort of ram you have and what the Max is you can have quickly

He meant Front Row. The pirated version of Front Row caused problems such as this. ;)

Edit: Damn, beaten to it. That'll teach me to start a reply then go get some water... ;)

For sure. I've had pretty good luck with Crucial....and they're a sponsor of MR. Huzzah!

Yep - the most important thing is to go with a reputable company which has 2 things: a lifetime guarantee on their RAM, and guarantees their RAM to specifically be Mac-compatible. If you can check off these two things when doing your research, you're good to go.

Mine dosn't crash every 5 mins, but it does it a few times a day. Never did before the updates. And i got 2 gig of memory....lol.

Apple should fix this. That would be swell.

Do the usual things: reset Safari from the Safari menu and remove the Safari preferences while it is closed (com.apple.Safari.plist). Putting the preferences back into the folder you found them in (Preferences) will restore your old settings if the removal doesn't fix your problem. :)

And I thought it was faulty RAM.
