I was experimenting with using my Air 2 in the field and got their Brydge keyboard for it.

It's the best iPad keyboard I've ever seen or used. If they build their Pro keyboard the same way, then it'll probably be the best choice there, too.

There were only two things I could think of to criticize.

  • The weight. That extra long life battery is heavy, although it's still an iPad and easy to carry.
  • The plastic inserts aren't absolutely, 100% perfect. Not uniform left/right.

Still, though, leagues ahead of everything else that was available for the Air 2.

In the end, I decided a new Macbook was a better thing to have in the field, but I had to give it a try, and putting the Brydge on eBay is due to a change in tactics, nothing to do with its performance.

:)

Looks like what they did was make a 12" version of their regular Air keyboard.

That's probably a good thing...but it might be heavy.
