Seems like Apple is continuing to increase support for VOIP in the new iOS. They specifically showed the inclusion of Skype in CarPlay. This seems like a slow but consistent move against the legacy carriers. They started with FaceTime video only (and only over wi-fi), then added cellular support, then added audio only FaceTime, now they offer enhanced 3rd Party VOIP support. What do others think Apple is up to?
