Any ideas on way the date Timestamp is so off on news articles?

An article I read a week ago shows in feed that is was posted in last 24 hours and when the article is opened it shows the date published. Attached is a example from today in the newsfeed in Stocks.

I have opened two cases with Apple and they do not get it. I asked for tier 2 support and nothing but crickets.

Apple News is a massive dumpster fire.
