Hi everyone,

I would like to introduce my app : NFC Tools.

NFC Tools can read and write your NFC tags with a simple and lightweight user interface.
By passing your device near an NFC chip, you can read the data it contains and interact with the content.

Free for download here : https://itunes.apple.com/app/nfc-tools/id1252962749

Here a quick video that explain how-to write a simple URL on your NFC tag ;)

We're happy to announce a new update of NFC Tools for iOS (version 2.5).

There are two major features :

  • Now, you can create a NFC record from an existing QR Code
  • A new record is also available to make a call with FaceTime, but only with audio.

Love the app paid for Pro, can you confirm iOS doesn't support WiFi Network NFC Tags?

I wanted to store all my WiFi details on an NFC Tag and stick to my Router. iOS does nothing when hovering over the tag?

I'm sorry, currently Apple restricts their background reading to basic records like URL, TEL, ...

Records like WiFi, contact ... are standard (NFC Forum specs) but currently, you need to have a reader app to be able to read the content. However, you don't need apps on Android, so I hope Apple will fix it soon.
