Sort of a weird deal with my fairy new iPhone XS. Many times when I get a text message from someone with a Samsung phone my iPhone won’t send out an audible chime/ding as a notification but will display it correctly. This basically happens maybe half the time but only if it’s coming from an Android phone such as a Samsung. Other Apple phones work perfectly.
I‘m constantly checking my phone throughout the day to see if I’ve missed a text. Prior to this new phone my old iPhone 6 also did it periodically. Is this a known issue with other Operating Systems like Android?
Of course every time I’m with someone with a Samsung phone I’ll test it to show them how it doesn’t give an audio notification but of course it works perfectly then. Any idea?
