Is this something that can be fixed screen still works it just has no backlight. Would a new screen fix this. Please write me back I would appreciate it. Thanks

Either a new screen or if you can fins someone replacing the backlight on your current if you are certain its broken.


A repairshop can carry out tests on your device to make sure whats the issue, just so that there aren't other issues, faulty logic board or some other issues.

Ok, its more so that it isn't a software glitch. I guess you have tried doing a "hard" restart on your device. Just to rule out it isn't software related.
Not sure if there are any test you can do just to make sure its the backlight and not anything on the logic board or similar.
I don't know if sysdiagnose catches these things.
