iPhone X No battery % in the status bar on the iPhone X

Where will you be able to see if WiFi calling is enabled? :confused:

No place for that now on the status bar with iPhone X.

Well, I've had this (upper right) since February 2013 and been pretty happy with it.

But you need a jailbreak to get it.

ugh.. another annoyance... adding to no touchid, no reachability, no control center access with one 1 hand/thumb... i wanted to like this phone but im find more things that im used to use with the 7, that won't be there anymore. battery % is very important to me as I prefer it over the generic battery level icon.

Doesn’t battery percentage burn a bit more battery since it checks status more often than the battery level bar?

I love having the percentage on. It's going to take some getting used to without it.

At least it would be better if we could have the option to show the % instead of the bar. It's very useful to know precisely, if you get below 10%. I would like seconds on the time as well, but I know that's not going to happen.

It would have been nice if they embedded the battery percentage into the battery icon. And I did use the battery percentage. But It won't prevent me from ordering iPhone X.

If you look at the numbers, they’re very similar between the X and 8+.

iPhone 7 != iPhone 7 Plus
The battery on the iPhone X WILL NOT last as long as the battery on the iPhone 8 Plus.

Let's go step by step here:

You say: The iPhone 8 has 2 hours more battery life over the 7.
Apple's page you linked to says: Lasts about the same as iPhone 7

You say: The iPhone X has about an hour less battery life than the 8, and even the 7 Plus.
Apple's page: Lasts up to 2 hours longer than iPhone 7

So if the 8 has the same battery life as the 7, and the X has 2 hours more than the 7, then the X has 2 hours more than the 8.

You do have a point that the Plus models have more battery life than the non-plus models, and may have as much or more than the X, but none of that is reflected in what you linked to.
