no boot with old Filevault 2-enabled hdd

I have taken my old Filevault 2-enabled boot disk (Lion 10.7.4) and put it n a new MBP 2012 to act as a boot drive.
Plan being just to keep the installation.

When starting after having selected the CS volume as bootdevice, there is no login screen to enter the known password. On the ld MBP, it always appeared. Consequenty, booting fails with a hit screen, and a crossed-out crcle.

I can mount the CS volume fine from the hard dsk utility.

Cn you advise on what t d n order to get the login screen back? Thanks.

answering myself: i did a bootargs -v and found out that the nstallation did not list MBP9.2 as a supported ystem (drivers missing).

i had xpected that but some BS guy said no, no - no issue, just do it.

Well, of course it is an issue and this guy may plunge to System 8...

Filevault2 is not bootedby itself but instead by a modified recovery partition. Over-installing OS X should do the trick if you have enough free space; having a backup is recommended common sense.
