It's called Undercover.

Enter your information about the iPhone or iPad and it will track it down to the street level if you lose it. You can report it lost or stolen. I just got it and haven't had time to see if it enables you to erase it yet, but still a great app to have.

The same company makes software for macs, from what I've read about the mac stuff it seems to be really nice. This is a great idea, cheers for sharing.

Well unless there is someone there with your iPad/iPhone to launch the app on it when its lost you will never find it with this application. Mobileme works all the time.

With the introduction of OS 4.0 however, it will be able to work in the background and work all the time as well.
