I know the title of the thread is a little dramatic, as an update is bound to happen, sooner or later. But, with just about weekly updates of the iOS version of the YouTube app, I find it strange that the Apple TV app has not been updated since January. That’s over half a year! Of course, I wish that the “conflict” with video codecs between Apple TV and YouTube (Google) would have been resolved by now, so the new ATV 4K could finally show 4K videos from YouTube. But, I can also think of a few other bugs that could have been fixed since January. So, does anyone have any information on when we can expect an update? Also, I can’t seem to find a stand alone YouTube Music app for Apple TV. I sure hope that’s in the coming too.
