iPad No sound heard in calls

There is no sound heard when someone is calling me from Skype, or Viber… is it a setting or something is broken?

Does it work via FaceTime? Other sounds affected?

Talking in video calls works, but ringing sounds when someone calls are not working. So I can’t be notified by ringing sounds when I get calls.
What other sounds, similar to the ringing ones can I check to see if they are working?

Have you tried turning the volume up with the side buttons when someone is actually calling you?

Call audio rules out a speaker issue. So sound works, you’re just not getting a notification of the incoming call? Is there a visual notification, just no sound - or nothing at all?

Sound like your iPad is either on silent or has a focus mode enabled.
